Asleep on the Job
I miss The Kids in the Hall.
For all those who discounted them because they seemed gay or the humor was too odd, these guys were like the new Monty Python. Weird, offbeat, and they dressed in drag almost as much as the Python guys did. Strangely, this video has made the rounds lately, and it's not even remotely one of their funniest skits.
Phoenix Humanities Teacher Suspended For Cheer Routine
I'm not sure how to take this really. On the one hand I have to say that my kids need a teacher who's going to teach the class, not use it as their own ego trip and not fill it with useless crap. It's bad enough that the English teacher is also the cheer coach, but did we really need to take time out to see her "new" cheer? Especially since it's just a ripoff of that "Hey Mickey" video from the 80's.
On the other hand, it wasn't all that long of a break from class and it wasn't inappropriate in any way. Nothing racy I mean. I think the school just got cold feet since the video hit Youtube.
The funny thing is that this school is about pretty close to us here in Phoenix. 3rd time in a week that the area has been in some sort of news.
The people at Family Guy are geniuses. Not so much because they are amazing writers, just because they go off on the weirdest tangents. I guess they really appeal to the ADD in all of us.
Statistics say that ferrets attack more people than grizzly bears. While I would agree, I would have said that when ferrets attack, they generally don't tear their victims limb from limb. But I could be wrong.
I'm not sure what this dude's problem is, but it certainly looks like he's tweakin out big time. At least he's in a good mood. Looks like some European country. My guess is Holland, specifically Amsterdam.
On the one hand, it's kinda funny, but on the other, it's pretty bad when your own daughter tries to sabotage your career by publicly humiliating you. Though I do admit it's odd that she's exorting him to quit drinking to save his job, and then giving this to Entertainment Tonight.
Some high speed, slow motion films of some dude slicing through objects witha samurai sword. Man, those swords must be sharper than razors the way they slice through those things.
I can't begin to tell you how often I felt like this. Except I didn't have a house. I did have a wife, though...
German man chainsaws house in two in divorce split
BERLIN (Reuters Life!) - A 43-year-old German decided to settle his imminent divorce by chainsawing a family home in two and making off with his half in a forklift truck.
Travis Pastrana is the lunatic who did the double backflip on his motorcycle at the X Games. Here he has someone else to take the risks. He has a buddy test out their insane slip and slide. Not your normal slip and slide, of course. This one starts off with an X Games ramp and ends in a waterfilled pit dug into the hillside.
A little bit of Photoshop and a lot of creativity make for a really cool video. Very cool and very real-looking pictures created by some very talented people. Soundtrack by Blue Man Group. Thanks to Milkandcookies.com
