Implants Gone Wild

Wow!

The story is kinda messed up and you feel for the woman, but the video is ridiculous and the news anchor's reaction is hilarious. "Wow!"

Gotta see it for yourself. Too odd to explain.

Asleep on the Job

I miss The Kids in the Hall.

For all those who discounted them because they seemed gay or the humor was too odd, these guys were like the new Monty Python. Weird, offbeat, and they dressed in drag almost as much as the Python guys did. Strangely, this video has made the rounds lately, and it's not even remotely one of their funniest skits.

Phoenix Humanities Teacher Suspended For Cheer Routine

I'm not sure how to take this really. On the one hand I have to say that my kids need a teacher who's going to teach the class, not use it as their own ego trip and not fill it with useless crap. It's bad enough that the English teacher is also the cheer coach, but did we really need to take time out to see her "new" cheer? Especially since it's just a ripoff of that "Hey Mickey" video from the 80's.

On the other hand, it wasn't all that long of a break from class and it wasn't inappropriate in any way. Nothing racy I mean. I think the school just got cold feet since the video hit Youtube.

The funny thing is that this school is about pretty close to us here in Phoenix. 3rd time in a week that the area has been in some sort of news.

Pink Floyd, Live at Pompeii

I've been a Floyd fan for a long time and this has always been one of my favorite songs. From their album, Meddle, which pre-dates their hugely famous Wall and Dark Side albums.

One of These Days is a slashing, driving bass and drum-driven piece, embodying the disjointed, chaotic psychosis that would epitomize their later works. This version, live in Pompeii is simply amazing.

Poland Air Show Crash

Here at the Human Show, we like to show people at their dumbest, and it couldbe argued that an air show is kinda dumb and those involved agree to certain risks, bla bla bla, but this is just kinda tragic and sad.

And yet I can't stop watching it.

When Ferrets Attack!

Statistics say that ferrets attack more people than grizzly bears. While I would agree, I would have said that when ferrets attack, they generally don't tear their victims limb from limb. But I could be wrong.

Crystal Meth is a Hell of a Drug

I'm not sure what this dude's problem is, but it certainly looks like he's tweakin out big time. At least he's in a good mood. Looks like some European country. My guess is Holland, specifically Amsterdam.

Hooga Hooga Chaka!!

Speaking of the Hoff. Check this out. Almost as funny as Nimoy singing Bilbo Baggins.

Quit Hassling the Hoff!

On the one hand, it's kinda funny, but on the other, it's pretty bad when your own daughter tries to sabotage your career by publicly humiliating you. Though I do admit it's odd that she's exorting him to quit drinking to save his job, and then giving this to Entertainment Tonight.

The Flaming Lips

When I was living in Orlando, I waited and waited and prayed for The Flaming Lips to come there so I could see them again. I'd seen them in the early 90s once. I think they opened for Rush or something. Anyway, no luck with them coming to Orlando. We moved to Phoenix and 3 months later they come to Orlando!!

Two things I love together at last. Monty Python and Halo.

Even without the video it's hilarious.

Slo Mo Samurai

Some high speed, slow motion films of some dude slicing through objects witha samurai sword. Man, those swords must be sharper than razors the way they slice through those things.

Cirque Du Soleil: Hula Hoop Contortionist

Contortionist Elena Lev is not only very flexible, she can bend and use hula hoops at the same time. As I said before, I find contortionists both fascinating and creepy. I'm always waiting for the spine to crack and see them fall over limp and lifeless.

Slip and Die

Travis Pastrana is the lunatic who did the double backflip on his motorcycle at the X Games. Here he has someone else to take the risks. He has a buddy test out their insane slip and slide. Not your normal slip and slide, of course. This one starts off with an X Games ramp and ends in a waterfilled pit dug into the hillside.

Stairway To Heaven

I was channel surfing the other night and ran into "The Song Remains the Same", Led Zeppelin's live docuconcert. Wow, the last time I saw that was in high school , seriously drunk, at a midnight movie.

Considered the best rock and roll song ever written, Stairway to Heaven is Led Zeppelin's biggest hit. WFMU, a New York radio station, has compiled a directory of 101 covers of the song.
