Insurance of All Kinds

ASDA Financial Services, part of the Walmart family, is a home and auto insurance company, offering low rates for insurance. They also offer loans and credit cards. The site is very informative and easy to navigate. The color scheme is pleasant and the graphic content is minimal, for faster loading for dial-up customers.
The site is a little too graphic lite for my designer's eye, but as a functional site for getting customers information, it's well laid out and easy to work through.
They certainly seem to have just about every insurance need covered. From Home Insurance to auto insurance to renters and building insurance. Check them out if you are in need of coverage.

Da Home

We're fairly settled into our home here in Chandler, AZ and the question now is; should we buy the house when the lease is up. We have the option and personally, I don't want to move again. Ever. It is just too exhausting. Besides, I like this house. It's big enough and close to the southern Santan Mountains and near to farms and horses (though the stockyards do tend to smell horrible at times). We do need some good Outdoor Lighting for the front of the house. The street lights just aren't too bright.

Car and Home Insurance

I am one of those people who believe the insurance industry is essentially corrupt. Having lived through Andrew and seen what companies like Allstate did to homeowners in the aftermath, I do not have a great opinion of insurers.

Having said that, I am also one of those people who have had to take advantage of having car insurance. I've never owned a home, so I've never had home insurance, but I have had my car stolen twice and have been in more auto accidents than I can count on both hands. All but 2 of those occured in Miami and involved me gripping the wheel and either being slammed into from behind or unable to avoid slamming into the idiot who pulled out in front of me. All but 3 of THOSE involved uninsured motorists.

So while I do not trust insurers, I realize it is a necessary evil and one would be foolish to not be insured. You can compare car insurance here.
