Normally, one would think this was kinda odd and interesting, and while it's still decidedly that, given the proliferation of dating services, it's only inevitable that they become more and more focused.

So now there's Gothscene, a dating service for goths to find other goths. Now goth chicks can hook up with goth guys via the interwebs. Who needs Myspace?

Seriously, I thought all that was required was to head out to the nearest goth club or piercing pagoda to find more of their kind, but then, like everyone else, maybe some just don't like the club scene or the mall... who knows? Ah well, we all need love. Even someone with 57 piercings.

As a formerly single dad, I can certainly attest to how difficult it is to find someone to date. There are so many issues to consider, but the main thing is how the potential date will react to the news you have a child or how they will interact with them if and when you introduce them.

The site itself is laid out fairly nicely, though the designer in me dislikes the color scheme. Just an asthetic thing for me. Not a fan of the baby blue. Other than that, it's not bad. I'm still not sure how to take this. Apparently it's a dating site for millionaires, who...cannot find potential mates? Personally I'm getting tired of hearing about beautiful or rich people who are having a hard time finding love. Either you're too damn picky or you aren't looking hard enough. I guess if that's the case, then this is a viable alternative to picking up chicks at the grocery store.
