Okay, so it's not like this is not common knowledge or something we don't have plenty of proof of, but well, here's some more:

Man, that last picture reminds me of Ed Norton in American History X. Seriously scary.

Now, I know there are people out there who will declare that the papparazzi deserve it, and you're right, a lot do deserve to get smacked with an umbrella now and again, but Britney has lived her live exploiting papparazzi as much as they've made a living exploiting her. There are only so many times a person of celebrity like Britney can go out in a short dress, sans panties, or head to the most popular Hollywood nightclubs with Paris Hilton or shave their heads and get tattoos in a very public setting before you have to point your finger and call them media-whores.

Britney can hire any tattoo artist she wants to come to her home and get "Daddy" tattooed on her butt without press coverage, and she certainly could have gotten the clippers out at home and shaved her trailerpark hair off without 30 papparazzi watching and snapping pics.

So no, I do not feel sorry for her and she should be charged with Assault and Battery with Intent to Commit Bodily Injury just like the rest of us would be.
